Concerning Our Use Of Natur-Leaf ^® In Medical Practice Since February 2000

A large number of studies have looked at the effectiveness of sitosterols, which is the primary ingredient of the Natur-Leaf product that we have used in our medical practice since February 2000. Sitosterols raise superoxide dismutase (SOD) levels, which are basic to lifespan. These enzymes change the superoxide anion to hydrogen peroxides and then to water or water and oxygen. The SOD involved in the first step of the process against free-radical activity includes both antioxidant scavenging enzymes and free antioxidants such as vitamin C and vitamin E, which may be classified in the same category with sitosterols:

• Has anti-mutagenic activity because it resists cellular damage from environmental toxins.
• Helps people with diverticular colon disease because they have low levels of sitosterol.
• Stops coughing and is a healthful supplement for the lungs.
• Is useful in treating autoimmune diseases.
• Inhibits the development of prostate adenoma and tumor growth.
• Improves liver function (SGOT,SGPT).
• Inhibits cancer cell growth.
• Normalizes blood sugar.
• Prevents the promotion or dihydrotestosterone (DHT)
• Night urination is reduced; urine flow rate improved.
• Has high anti-bacterial and antimycotic activity (kills fungus).
• Has effective antiviral properties.
• Inhibits the growth of prostate, breast and colon cancer.
• Has an effect on the immune system by stimulating the formation of T-cells.
• Helps reduce the levels of Cortisol in the blood, which is released at times of stress.
• Blocks the development of certain tumors and the abnormal production of inflammatory proteins.
• Has anti-hypoglycemic effects that can be important for the treatment of diabetes, hypoglycemia and cardiovascular diseases.
• Reduces LDL cholesterol and triglycerides.
• Helps to maintain hydration in the cells.
• Helps to regulate cellular function accurately.

It is impossible for us to get the sitosterol we need from our diet. Therefore, supplementation is important. We have found that Natur-Leaf actually has an effect on patients with autoimmune disorders - disorders which often are initiated by a viral infection or allergic reaction, allergy rhinitis, hay fever, asthma, chronic urticaria, angioedema, acne, allergies to foods and medications, chronic candida syndrome, yeast infection, leaky-gut syndrome, irritable bowel syndrome, benign prostate hyperplasia, prostatodynia, trans urethral resection of the prostate, prostate cancer, colon cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, osteoporosis, celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis, insulin resistance, PMS, fibrocystic breast, lymphoma, sexual impotence, Sjogren’s syndrome, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s disease, incontinence of urine, and interstitial cystitis.

Our impression is that all of the above diseases are associated with yeast syndrome or chronic candidiasis and enzyme deficiency. Also, their recurrence is connected with celiac disease, a condition caused by sensitivity of gluten, a major component of the wheat endosperm. We have instructed our own family to avoid yeast and gluten. We use the Natur-Leaf supplement in combination with traditional medical or alternative complementary treatments.

We have seen patients who have irritable bowel syndrome, spastic colons, abdominal cramping, rheumatoid arthritis, cystitis, fibromyalgia, hay fever, asthma, allergies to foods and medications, benign prostate hypertrophy and acne have their symptoms completely reverse and the patients return to normal health. We advise patients with autoimmune and degenerative diseases to supplement their yeast-free diet with Natur-Leaf. This protocol not only helps the body fight disease, but it can help correct the underlying cause of the disease. This protocol also helps our patients optimize their health as they age with careful and appropriate natural intervention. This includes not only encouraging patients to avoid common health problems such as heart disease, strokes, cancer, diabetes, and osteoporosis, but we also show them how to strengthen their immune systems in their bodies so as to enjoy maximal lifespan more fully.
