ACTIVE INGREDIENT CONCENTRATION & BIOAVAILABILITY

Each vegetarian capsule of Natur-Leaf ^® contains 400 mg of proprietary phytonutrients blend containing sterols/sterolins. The 400 mg of phytonutrients blend and the sterols/sterolins includes the whole plant sprouts, which have been ground and freeze-dried immediately after harvesting at a hydroponics farm in South Africa. All the nutrients of the plant sprouts are retained in the end-product. So, in addition to the sterols and sterolins, the vegetarian capsules contain vitamins, minerals, and other phytochemicals associated with the young plant sprouts.

The ratio of the sterols to their glucosides (sterolins) in Natur-Leaf ^® is about 4:1. Some of the sprouts have a ratio of 1.5:1 and some 10:1, but the average is about 4:1 or better. This ratio is important to understand because it is what is found in nature, with no introduction of outside glucosides (sterolins) to the sterols. Each 400 mg capsule of Natur-Leaf ^® contains 40 mg of sterols with 8 mg of sterolins.

In a copyrighted interview with perhaps the world's foremost authority on sterols/sterolins, the professor was asked whether the sterols/sterolin ratio has any effect on the efficiency of the treatment. His response was "In Harzol we had a ratio of 100 parts of sterols to 1 part of sterolin. There was a very good reason why this was done at the beginning as we wanted to hide the sterolins as the thought active part of the sterols. But if one looks at the ratios in nature in the plants, this is more like one molecule of the glucoside to 5 to 10 molecules of sitosterols. This, in my opinion, is a much better ratio. So sterols and sterolins you get from the plant extract would be a more natural one."

To the best of our knowledge, there is no other sterolin product on the earth which is more concentrated in its sterol/glucoside ratio than Natur-Leaf.
